We had a blast hanging out with family last weekend in Temple, but one of the funnier moments was when Axton and Luke were happily playing together... until one of them started crying which set off the other.  We of course thought it was too funny to break up... immediately... Axton must taste EVERYTHING!!! Luke is just too cool in Tyler's shades!

Axton got his first tooth in about a week ago! I highlighted in the below pic. Kinda small and hard to see but it is sharp! ouch!  Axton likes his Bible and really likes it when Audria reads to him!  Caleb and Axton enjoy their daily wrestling match!  Axton is moving so fast these days!!!  Such a cutie!!!

Axton got to go camping this past weekend! It was his first time and he did great all day. Axton loved the fire! He just locked in on it and stared it down.  It must have been the dancing fire that kept him entertained all night. Axton had a rough night, but it was his first time sleeping in the great outdoors. I am sure he will be loving it soon!

We try to always go to the State Fair once a year!  This was Axton's first time. Got to see some fun shows. This morning brought some good news that Axton was cleared for leaving the NICU and he was going to get to stay in our room for the rest of our duration at the hospital!  That was great news that got all three of us in a great mood! We had Axton's baby shower today at church and it was awesome!!!!  The hosts and the girls did an incredible job!!!  Sign in table that matches our nursery theme (Cowboys!).  The awesome and delicious Cowboys cake!  Hosts!  Hosts!  We had a TON of people show up and overwhelm us with gifts for Axton!  An awesome gift of some actual turf from Cowboys Stadium!  It will look epic in the nursery!

Brody got to come spend the night with us last night!  I picked him up on my way home from work, picked up Audria, and the headed to Suzy Q's for some old fashioned burgers and sundaes.  He loved being able to sit at the counter and see the guys making the sodas and sundaes up close. When we arrived at the hotel on Portofino Becah in California, we were greated with an awesome view from our room!  Mike, Tyler, and I were excited to get to hang out with my Dad after he was done working for the week. Geat sunsets from the room also!  He head out walking to find some food.  An awesome view of the beach!  Nice van!  Headed to Joes to eat some breakfast...  Biking on the strand.

We showed up late to Dinosaur Valley State Park on Friday night, but we got to hang out around the fire after we pitched our tent.  Our friends The Johnstons, Gradys, and Glovers were all meeting for a weekend of fun. Tired of the rain in Mansfield, we headed south this weekend to camp with some of our friends. Laura, Grant, Audria, and I setup camp at South Llano River State Park near Junction, Tx. We decided to trade in the Alero and get a Jeep Wrangler. We have been driving the new Jeep around for a couple of weeks. Mike and Staci got their new Jeep a couple of days ago. Just got around to uploading this. It was a spur of the moment thing... thought it would turn out better... I should have gotten down really low to the grass where you could see each snowflake accumulate.... but it was too cold outside and much easier to shoot from inside the house.
